An easy way to make the perfect mashed potatoes at home
Clean, peel, and chop the potatoes into large cubes.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Add the chopped potatoes and cook until fork tender.
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and return them to the pot to steam for 5 minutes.
While the potatoes are steaming, heat the butter, heavy cream, rosemary, and garlic cloves in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until it is hot and ready to go (About 5 minutes).
Grab a ricer and run the potatoes through it. Get a strainer to collect the rosemary and garlic and pour the infused cream over the potatoes and mash until smooth. Add salt to taste.
Serve hot and enjoy!
