Fettuccine Pasta with a creamy lemon sauce that is rich and full of flavor

What you need

4 oz fettuccine

1 salt

½ butter

½ tsp red pepper flake

1 clove granulated garlic

½ cup parmesan cheese

½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
1 Boil a pot of water. 2 While the water is going, mince one garlic clove finely. Finely chop some parsley to finish prep. 3 Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and follow package instructions to cook until al dente. Add salt to taste. 4 Preheat a pan to medium heat. Add a TBSP of butter and minced garlic to the pan. Cook for 30 seconds and lower the heat to low. 5 Add the pasta water, lemon juice, and start adding 3 TBSP of butter one at a time and whisk. Once you have a nice butter lemon sauce going, add in the heavy cream, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, black pepper and whisk. Add 3 more TBSP of butter and whisk to thicken the sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens. 6 Once the sauce thickens, cut the heat and add half of the grated parmesan cheese. Add the pasta and toss to combine.
